GLS (J P Shah) Institute of Business Administration is a brain-child of the visionary leadership of Gujarat Law Society. It was established in 1999 with the intention to equip students of Ahmedabad with a bedrock of management skills to help them navigate through the complex business environment. It offers three year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing, Accounting & Finance, International Business.

The institute grew to be a multi-lingual, multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary educational complex of international repute over a period of one and half decades. The institute saw another milestone in its ongoing journey to Quality Education in 2015 when it became a constituent college of GLS University. Such metamorphosis has given the institute boundless freedom in terms curriculum designing, pedagogy and evaluation. Curricular and co-curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum and help students to have commanding incorporation of theory and practical knowledge. The academic results have been outstanding and the college perennially excels in intercollegiate cultural-literary-management festivals, sports and social service. Within a short span of 18 years of its inception, GLSIBA has created a niche for itself, and has become the most preferred institute for undergraduate business education in western India. It has consistently had the highest cut-offs at the admissions undertaken every year, further ensuring maximum top ranks in University exams. However, the story doesnot end here.
